Touch and select your preferred language from the 15 languages displayed on the screen. Supported languages: Japanese, English, Chinese (Simplified/Traditional), Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Malay, Filipino, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese.

Select the foreign currency you want to exchange. Fourteen currencies are supported: USD, EUR, CNY, KRW, TWD, HKD, THB, SGD, AUD, GBP, CAD, MYR, PHP, and IDR.

Insert foreign banknotes into the slot one at a time. Once a banknote is recognized, its amount appears on the screen. To exchange multiple banknotes, continue inserting them one at a time.

The screen shows the foreign-currency amount inserted and the amount of yen you will receive. Check the details carefully.

After checking the details, tap the OK button to confirm the exchange.

Collect your yen (banknotes and coins) and transaction statement from the cash dispensing slot. The statement can also be used as a receipt. Make sure you take everything before leaving.
SimpleExchange only accepts foreign banknotes. Coins cannot be inserted.
Exchange from yen to foreign currency is not supported. This machine is exclusively for exchanging foreign banknotes for yen.
Credit card cash advances are not supported. This machine is exclusively for cash exchange.
Cancellation is not possible after inserting banknotes.
